X International Chess Tournament

The tournament is staged in Kirishi, Leningrad region, at the Palace of Culture KINEF, Sovetskaya str. 16.
The tournament is from 11 (arrival) till 24 (departure) of May 2012.
The tournament is a 12-player, single round-robin event, according to the acting rules of FIDE.
Time control is 1 hour and 30 minutes (plus 30 seconds for each move made) until the end of the game for each player using the electronic chess clock..
Game schedule:
1-st - 5-th rounds begin at 15:00 from 12 till 16 May 2012.
Day off - 17 May 2012.
6-th - 10-th rounds - at 15:00 from 18 till 22 May 2012.
11-th round begins at 10:00 on 23 May.
Opening Ceremony - at 16:00 on 11 May.
Closing Ceremony - at 16:00 on 23 May.
The placing is defined according to the biggest sum of points, accumulated within 11 rounds. If the sum of points is equal the placing is defined as follows:
1. face-to-face game
2. "Zonnenborn-Berger"
3. number of victories
The 1-st, 2-nd and 3-rd place winners are awarded with diplomas and prizes. The organizers have established prizes for creative achievements.
Meals are:
breakfast 08:00 - 10:00;
lunch 13:00 - 14:00;
dinner 20:00 - 21:00
